Christal Vizcarra

Christal is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from Chapman University. She has been involved in various therapeutic settings since 2002, working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families through out-patient settings as well as intensive treatment centers.

Christal specializes in those struggling with mental health disorders in the areas of anxiety, depression, personality and mood disorders, postpartum depression and anxiety, women’s issues, chemical dependence, marital and family difficulties, trauma, and eating disorders.

Christal takes a humanistic perspective and is client-centered to cater to and support each individual's needs. She is versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Psycho-dynamic Therapy.
